Industry Leader Partners with Venus Williams’ V Starr for Interior Design of the Salt Rooms
Boca Raton, FL – As part of the stunning $140 million transformation of PGA National Resort, SALT Chamber, pioneers in the salt therapy industry and innovators in products, equipment, and décor, has designed, built, and installed two dry salt therapy rooms at the expansive 40,000-square-foot Spa at PGA National.
SALT Chamber, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, partnered with Venus Williams’ V Starr, an award-winning Palm Beach interior design firm, to design two very unique salt therapy rooms, one for a more private experience and the other for a small-group experience.
Salt therapy is the fastest-growing service in the spa and wellness industry. According to the Salt Therapy Association, spending time in a salt therapy environment may help cleanse the respiratory system, improve lung function, boost the immune system, and enhance mental wellness.
Over the past few years, there has been a significant increase in self-care practices as more people become educated and aware of emerging evidence-based modalities like salt therapy that are particularly focused on respiratory wellness. Respiratory health and hygiene are the focus of several new studies that correlate respiratory wellness to the quality and longevity of life.
